This Privacy Policy explains how GRIND ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our application, website, and related services (the "Service").
Information you provide directly: your email address (when joining the waitlist or creating an account), and any information you manually enter into the app (performance notes, release details, schedule preferences, etc.)
Information from connected third-party accounts: when you connect Instagram or YouTube, we access, through each platform's official API, public content performance data (views, likes, comments, follower/subscriber counts) and basic account information (username, channel name, profile thumbnail). We never request or store your third-party account password.
Automatically collected information: basic usage data to help us maintain and improve the Service.
We use your information to provide and operate the Service, send important account or product communications, improve and develop new features, and maintain security. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Connected account access tokens are stored securely on our servers and are never exposed to the browser or any client-side code — only our backend systems can access them. We use industry-standard practices, including row-level security on our database, to keep your data accessible only to you and the systems that need it.
GRIND is not intended for children under 13. If we learn we've collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will delete it.
If you access GRIND from outside Canada, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries where our service providers operate.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, notifying you of material changes through the app or by email.
